Igniting Young Women Innovators in Next-Gen Healthcare
The 1st Scientific Day on Research in Computing at Feminine 📅 April 16, 2026 | 🏛️ University of Constantine 2, Constantine, Algeria
YoungRIF 2026 is a dynamic and inclusive academic forum dedicated to highlighting the contributions of young women researchers in the field of Artificial Intelligence applied to healthcare. Organized by the LIRE Laboratory at Constantine 2 University, this first edition serves as a preparatory event for the RIF International Conference and aims to foster scientific dialogue, mentorship, and networking among emerging and established researchers.
The central question of the event is: How can young women researchers leverage advanced AI architectures (from deep and generative models to federated and explainable systems) to design impactful AI solutions and open new directions in AI for health?
Topics
The event covers six main research tracks:
Track 1 – Machine Learning for Health Data: Learning under imbalance, label noise, and distribution shifts; causal modeling, risk prediction, and outcome modeling.
Track 2 – Deep Learning for Biomedical Imaging and Signals: Architectures for radiology, pathology, and ophthalmology; deep models for physiological signals; multimodal fusion.
Track 3 – Generative AI and Synthetic Data in Health: VAEs, GANs, diffusion models; privacy-aware synthetic data generation; evaluating fidelity, utility, and fairness.
Track 4 – Federated and Distributed Learning for Medical Data: Federated learning under privacy constraints; robust aggregation; transparency and auditability frameworks.
Track 5 – Explainability, Trust, and Clinical Decision Support: Explainable AI for clinicians, patients, and regulators; validation in real clinical workflows.
Track 6 – Medical NLP and AI for Clinical Text and Public Health: Information extraction from clinical narratives and EHRs; NLP for triage and decision support; responsible use of large language models in health.
